This is a friendly reminder that any runners interested in running the Bellin Run 10K on June 8th NEED to be registered online by May 1st. Their race packet (including bib) and Kids4Running t-shirt will come to Glenbrook. If they are not registered by May 1st, their packet will need to be picked up by a parent and they will not receive a Kids4Running shirt.
Please let me know if you have any questions or have trouble registering. Remember this special discount code is ONLY for the student runners in our training program.

We just started our first practice this week. Attached is the April calendar so you can see our practice times and mileage. Your child received a calendar at our firsts practice. Please post this and be timely in picking up your child at the PACE doors. Thank you!

Cellcom 5K Information
The Cellcom 5K is this Saturday, May 19th. We are have been training hard and are very excited for the race! We have about 20 runners from our group who are signed up. We plan to meet at our Glenbrook school sign (located on Ridge St.) by 8:15 am. This will give us time to use the bathroom, take a group picture and chat about the race before heading to our corrals at 8:30-8:40. The race begins at 9:00.
Remember, parents will need to stop inside Lambeau Atrium to pick up their child's race packet either on Friday from 3-7 or on Saturday from 7:00-8:30. You can still register for the race through Friday, but there will be NO race day registration.
All students running in the Cellcom will be given a letter with additional information at practice today (Thursday, May 17th). Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration for Races
Hello!
We are off to a great start with our training at Running Club! Unfortunately, the weather has kept us inside this week to work on some strength circuits and running in the halls (shhh...don't tell Mr. Sufka) :)
Last week, we sent home registration forms for the Cellcom 5K and the Bellin 10K. If you did not receive a form or you are stuck on how to register, please contact me and I will try my best to help you. I am not allowed to post our secret codes on here due to the fact that only those training with in Running Club are allowed to utilize the discount codes for the races.
**REMEMBER**
Runners MUST REGISTER for the BELLIN 10K by MAY 1st (Race is June 9th @ 8:00 am)

First Day, Snow Day!
What was supposed to be our first day of Running Club turned out to be a snow day! We will have our first day on Thursday instead. We will meet in the big gym after school and practice will end around 4:00. Kids should dress in comfortable clothing to run outside, have a decent pair of running shoes and bring a water bottle (if they would like). A watch is also a good idea so kids can keep track of their own running pace. Looking forward to lots of fun with our runners! 👟🏃

Bellin Run 2017!
I am so excited that the Bellin Run is next week!!! The kids have been training hard and will be completing 6 full miles at practice today. They will be awesome!
Today, we will be sending home a note filled with information about Bellin Race Day. We will meet at our Glenbrook school sign on Porlier St. by 7:15 am and head to our corrals by 7:20. Race begins at 8:00 sharp! Remember to use the bathrooms ahead of time. All runners must be accompanied by a parent to the race. Parents are responsible for their own children. I will be there to help kids get to their corrals at the beginning and then I will be finding a spot to cheer them on! At the end of the race, kids will find our school sign again and their parents.
