| Getting ready for a 2.5 mile run with some stretching |
A couple of quick updates...
1st- Cellcom registration is open! To receive the $11 reduced rate, your child must register by May 15th (There are no exceptions or extensions to this date). This reduced rate is only applicable for students training with our group. Unfortunately, siblings and parents are not able to register with this special code. Click here for official online registration instructions. Race packets for this race must be picked up by you on Friday night before the race at Lambeau Field.
2nd- Bellin registration is also now open. The deadline is May 2nd to receive reduced rate ($15), Free Bellin Kids for Running t-shirt AND to have your child's race packet (official race t-shirt and bib #) delivered directly to school. School: Glenbrook, Password: 117
3rd- With the weather getting nicer (fingers crossed it stays decent) please be sure your child has proper attire for running- shorts, tshirt, running shoes. We've had some students showing up in jeans which are not only difficult to run in but also are very warm as our mileage is increasing weekly. With the mornings being cooler, your child may want to throw a pair of shorts in their backpack to change into after school.
